Vapo what?...

...vapotherm - my new way of breathing. Gone (hopefully forever) are the days of CPAP and that hat... I've moved on to the next step. You can see by the picture that it's far less 'in my face' than the mask. Much more compfy and I can move my head and squidge my nose on my blanket when I want to now! I'm breathing in air most of the time, but I do need a little help with the pressure, which is on 7 at the moment (I was on on 4 with CPAP). The pressure will go down though as I get used to my new way of breathing.

I had another 45 minutes out and about with Mummy today. I rested on her and snoozed. I was free again for a while.

I'm on 6.6ml/hour of Mummy's milk now. It's still being fortified with some powder but I've only put on 13g's in the last couple of days. I must put weight on soon, you can see my ribs and I look a bit thin in the face, contributed to by laying on the sides of my head all of the time (I will be more rounded one day, head and body).

I'm looking forward to Monday when I see Daddy. Mummy's been keeping him up to date with how I'm getting on. She tells me that he's very proud of me with the progress that I've been making and that he loves me very much. I hope he's OK all that way away in France and that he's getting sleep in between working hard. I hope his car goes really fast this weekend, brrrrmmmmm brrrrrrmmmmm!
