Another day and more going on in my neck of the woods. I got another letter today - more post than Mummy so she says! My beautiful friend Beatrice who lives in Indianapolis in the US send me a poster. Mummy has put it up on the fridge so that I can see it when I get home...
'Don't give up, you can do it Oscar'. And do you know what - I certainly can! I've got so much support from everyone and I'm looking forward to my coming home party so much that every day is a day closer to that special day. Thank you everyone for your kindness.
Mummy arrived in my hot room today and I was showing off that I can breathe the same air that she does 21% oxygen! I know, I'm so pleased, I opened my eyes as she arrived and saw her big smile, she told me that she and Daddy love me!I came out for cuddles too today. I was down Mummy's top for just over 2 hours! I was awake for some of the time and enjoyed my nice warm cuddle, my oxygen requirement was on average about 23%, so I even showed them that I enjoyed it. I did get a bit restless at one point, but Mummy checked me out and I put my thumb in my mouth and made a few sucking noises, I got an aaarrrrrhhhhh from Mummy and snoozed.
The nurses have increased my milk to 6ml's per hour and I've still got the fortifier in it, however I've gone down 28g's, so I'm now 842g's in total. That was a bit of a blow. I've done some mighty big nappies though, so perhaps my weight will be on the up again.
When I came out and went back into my bed, they did it with my roof off. Just look at me lying there, chillin'! Mummy took this piccie just before I turned over and went to sleep... again...
great work oscar keep it up i hope you will be back for the big party.

Hello my darling Oscar. What a good boy you are with your oxygen and how wonderful to have a 2 hour cuddle from your mummy. I'm sure your weight will improve over the next few days so we won't worry about that will we? I am missing you so much and have to terll myself that I will be seeing you again in 6/7 weeks (what a change there will be in your weight then) so I will just log onto your blog every morning to see the piccies mummy has put on and have a chat. I love you so much.
