Monkey's been away...

Daddy went to Barcelona and I wanted to go; but instead I made him take monkey with him... here's his holiday snaps! Here's monkey catching a ride on the lorry... a monkey's gotta look after his legs you know... and here's monkey with Nicholas Minassian who won the race and let me hold his trophy!
I'd quite like to go on holiday, but Mummy and Daddy haven't got my passport ready... They only need to take piccies and get them signed... What do you think of this one?

I'm getting more obsessed with bunny every day (so Mummy thinks). As soon as I get up I look for him and when he's bouncing around near me he makes me laugh and laugh, I even go and see him sometimes, in the safety of his own home though!

I've got more teeth! The bottom one's poking through now so when I smile there's a toothy grin. There's 2 top ones coming out as well, but not the middle 2; the fangs at the side... Mummy says that I'm a mini vampire - but I sleep too well at night to be one of those Mummy!

I'm not quite sure how heavy I am, Mummy should take me to be weighed really but she's naughty. However I'm having some nice breakfasts, lunches and dinners so I must be piling the grams on, I think I'm about 17.5 lbs now or maybe a bit more!

MMMMmmmmmmelon!

Daddy and Mummy have been looking at new pushchairs, double ones! As long as I go on the front so I can see what's going on, I don't really mind. You see, I am the biggest and the oldest (well, when new baby comes out anyway), so I should really get the perks of being able to understand what's going on by looking around and not just lying there like a slug - that's what the new baby'll do for ages... until it grows up, out sizes and out weighs me and then duffs me up for taking the front seat... hmmm, I must learn some clever Jet Li moves to administer on baby to assert my age and number 1 status! By the way... I don't know who those kids are, do you?

I've got a new cot and a new car seat... the cot's fab because I can twizzle and turn about in it and just look at me in the car seat... the straps do tighten up a bit... - thanks cousin Conrad for the seat, I can't wait to get a bit bigger so that I can sit forward in the car and see out of the front window!

Before...
After!

I'm hoping that the sun will start to get a bit warmer and that I can spend longer outside looking at the trees and the bees and the flowers and the bunnies, well my bunny anyway. Mummy says that the weather was lovely this time last year... she remembers it well! However this is what my garden looked like when it snowed a couple of weeks ago, brrrrrrr!

It's my 1st birthday next week. We're going out for lunch on Wednesday and on Saturday 3rd May we're going to the pub to see lots of friends and on Sunday we're having a lunch at Grandma Pat's house; busy, busy, busy... I wonder if I'll get my 'other birthday' in August... 2 sets of presents... like royalty!

For anyone who would like to join in the celebration, come to The Red Lion pub, Long Compton on Saturday 3rd May 2008. We'll be there from about midday and will be having lunch, join us for a bite or just a little drink, the more the merrier!

Brother or Sister?

Yes, that's right... Mummy's got a baby in her tummy. It's due to arrive on the 6th October, so I've got time to get my head around not being the only baby in the house. I'll have to start writing a 'Naughty Manual' to teach him/her a few tricks - but Mummy and Daddy say that I'm never naughty... well, I can sort that out soon enough!

Here it is at 12 weeks and 2 days, Mummy's now 14 weeks and 2 days pregnant. She's starting to get a bit round around the middle so she looks a bit tubby at the moment and not as though there's a baby in there. Hopefully it will arrive 'ON' schedule not before... it better not take after me, although I have been a bit of a miracle... however, we don't want to think about going through that again, miracles or not!

Everyone's excited about it - family and friends are very supporting... I'm writing a list of preferences of where I'm going to go when the new baby arrives - to give myself a break from the screaming and sleepless nights - who said brotherhood was going to be fun!
