...totally! I am so happy. I'm doing better than when I was assisted with my breathing; only because I'm capable of doing it on my own now.
I'm still on 3-hourly feeds, of which every other one is a sucking feed. I've got some great feeding bottles!

I had a lovely cake from all of the nurses, it had strawberries and cream on it. Mummy, Daddy and Aunty Allison had some, so did lots of the nurses. Aunty Allison held me; this was just before I breathed on my own for the very first time.
Hopefully the next place I visit will be A-side - bring it on... I'll see my mate Gene and my girlie Harriet.

I'm sooooo excited about my future...
Hi Oscar - I am so pleased to hear you no longer need assistance with your breathing, you have done so well, you are one amazing little boy. It was great to see you yesterday and to have a little hold! Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Lots of Love Allison XX
ReplyDeleteHi babe,
ReplyDeleteYou`re a clever boy breathing on your own, thats great... I bet the cake tasted good and being 100 days old mst be great too. Maybe you can go home soon, I`ve seen the your bed already, you`ll be sharing a bedrom with Stuart. he says he doesn`t mind and is looking forward to it. You`ll just have to watch out that his fluff doesn`t get up your nose.
Lots of love and kisses
Aunty Steph

Hi Oscar
ReplyDeleteI'm a friend of Harriet's Mum and I read your blog as well as Harriet's most nights. It's wonderful news that you are now breathing on your own.
You and Harriet are two very feisty babies.
Wishing you well.
