Never mind West Side Story...

...A-side's much better! Yes, you've guessed correctly, I only know because I'm over there! The lower dependency unit - the Special Care Nursery. Mummy and Daddy are sooooo proud of me; I guess I am a bit of a good boy really - I graduated here by my own doing, at being well enough to cope. It's a bit sad not being on B-side any more as I loved the nurses and doctors and all of the attention, but A-side's closer to home say Mummy and Daddy and apparently I'll like home even more than A-side...

It's been a great day. It's been nice and quiet (the occasional beep from all of us), just a few voices passing by. Daddy and Mummy were here all day, Grandma F and Grandad M came to visit; other than this I've fed, slept and had a lovely bath. I think that things are going really well and I hope to be at home in a couple of weeks (frequent updates on this one of course!).

Harriet's going into the flat tomorrow night (Friday) for two nights before she goes home on Sunday (my due date - Harriet's due date is on Monday 20th). I really do hope that she gets on well; I bet her Mummy and Daddy get no sleep for the next two nights, or ever!

  2. Hi OScar,

Soooo glad you're over here with me finally. Not in the same room, but mummy carried me over to the window earlier today, and I saw you being held by your daddy through the glass. I didn't watch for very long, as I was hungry and wanted my feed! It's great to be wire free - that'll be you soon. I've got no sats monitor and no apnoea mat! And I'll go on my big adventure to the flat tomorrow provided I behave myself tonight! I'll let you nkow what it's like, as i know you'll be there soon.

    love

  3. Hi babe,
Wow... well done for getting over to the A-side... You seem to be a very good boy and by the looks of things are getting really chubby now. How much do you weigh ?? Maybe you can start wearing that little white top with the star I bought you or the babygrow.. ask Mummy if she thinks they could fit you. Tell her its cool to wear oversized clothes, Rappers do, their clothes are always baggy.

    Thinking of you
    Lots of love
