The start of a grumbly tummy...

I'm 4lbs 13.6oz's and am now considered a 'full term' baby; in fact I have been since Sunday. I'm now allowed to listen to music (whatever that is) and am allowed to have a mobile above my bed (Mummy says that the mobile isn't a mobile phone, she's not letting me have one of those until I can buy it myself). Apparently I like black, white and red so they'll get me one with those colours in it. At home I've got one with teddies on that plays music, Daddy keeps playing it even though I'm not there yet!

I'm on 2-hourly feeds now. That means 33ml's very 2 hours. The first lot of 33 wiped me out and I went straight to sleep; the second lot did the same and I didn't really get to wake up properly in between - only enough to know that Mummy gave me a little cuddle. I'll have to start get to grips with being hungry when being full up passes, that means that my tummy will grumble and I'll be more vocal!

I'm still on 4.5 on my vapotherm, so that's good and I was breathing air when I was at my most relaxed, only going up to 24% ish when I was wriggly and awake.

I have a couple of hernias at the bottom of my abdomen. The doctor popped them back in, they're not worried about them, they're normal in premature babies because our muscles are not very strong. They should correct themselves or a little op might have to be done to pop them back for good.
