I escaped...

...from my cot and went to cuddle all of my visitors... I had lots of visitors again today. I counted 5, not including Mummy or Daddy. Grandma Pat, Gt Aunty Janice, Gt Uncle Brian, Grandma Felicity and Grandad Martin - they all cuddled me!

I'm doing rather well apparently, my vapotherm was turned down from 4.5 to 4 today (Daddy thinks it was actually on 3.75)... they turn it down every couple of days or so. I even managed to breathe air again - for the first time in a couple of weeks, that felt nice.

I've got a new machine (I think it's Harriet's hand-me-down); it's got a really quiet beeper and only needs one lead; so I'm only attached to my breathing tube, food tube and foot thing - freedom seems ever nearer! When I get off of vapotherm I hope to go over to 'A Side' - where I can see Harriet; I do hope she'll still be there, although there is talk of the 'H' word - HOME, I'll just visit her there instead!

I'm still on 2-hourly feeds, I didn't get quite so zonked out on between them today; I stayed awake for about 3 hours before I couldn't keep my eyes open any more! Check out the first lipstick kiss mark - thanks Grandma Pat, I'm having a bath tomorrow to wash it off - why is it that Grandma's always leave their mark? My Mummy said it was the same with her Nanny!

  1. It's a non-stop party round at your gaff! How lovely that Grandma Pat has returned to see you - MUCH changed no doubt. Very soon the party venue will move on to Room A and then you can rock Long Compton! Lxx

  3. Dear Oscar
It was wonderful having a good long cuddle with you yesterday, you just about managed to keep one eye open. I think it was the stripy jumper.
Gt Uncle Brian loved his cuddle too. See you soon, perhaps in 'A side'.
    Love

  4. Hi Oscar,

Glad you like my beeping machine. I hope to see you soon on A-Side, but you'd better be quick, I think I may be off home to Wantage soon, if I keep on behaving myself. Mummy keeps telling me not to count my chickens and to touch lots of wood, but there are no chickens or wood in my cot, so it's a little difficult.

    Can't wait to see you.

    love and kisses,

    Harriet xxxx
