Tubes...

...I hate them. Up my nose, in my mouth; once upon a time in my arms and belly button (OK so they were cannula's), I'm getting tired of being connected to things other than Mummy or Daddy's hand... with my hand, holding hands.

I got miffed today. I could have punched my pillow with my muscly arm (look at how big it is). My food tube came out twice. So I might have helped it along a bit because I play with it with my tongue... but before any one other than Daddy noticed, I was being a bit sick. This was a whole new experience, a nasty one and I don't want to do it again. Anyhow, new tube in and all was OK again... my 13ml's of milk went in my tummy continuously - yep, you've spotted it, it's gone up... perhaps because I'm now up to 1460g's! Yep, my weight went up too, groovy!

I sucked Daddy's finger, a bit by accident really, he was wiping my face and it was just there by my mouth. I quite liked it, Daddy thought it was funny, Mummy did too and we all had a chuckle!

Mummy held me today, that made me cheery. She put me next to this big squidgy warm thing, I was the same colour as me, with a darker bit near my nose and mouth. I heard her say something about breast feeding - whatever that is, she also said something about learning what it is- whatever that is! Apparently she'll be doing this every day from now onwards - an introduction to breast feeding she calls it. Daddy says that an introduction to beer will be more fun, he says that it makes things seem funny even when they're not... Mummy said something about his jokes...
