Lugs n jugs...

Some people call them ears, Mummy calls them lugs, as does Aunty Steph. She used to think that Mummy's lugs stuck out like jug handles... (Mummy used to think that Aunty Steph looked like a boy!) I'm getting cartilage in my lugs; that means I'm growing... and they don't stick out either, phew!

I'm 1500g's today, that's 3lbs 5oz's. Daddy's charted all of my weights since I was born, which was 70 days ago today! It's a pretty mega chart, don't you think? You can see what my weight prediction is based on how I've grown. I'll be the BFG soon! I'm on 14ml's of milk per hour now too.

I have been breathing in air for most of the day too. Even when Mummy held me and put me next to her boobie (a new name I've learnt today). When Mummy chatted to Harriet's Mummy, she learnt that Harriet was on level 6 of vapotherm last week, and yesterday she made the graduation to breathing totally by herself... isn't that fast (Mummy says that's because she's female). I'm hoping that I'll be better soon, they reduced my flow to 6.5 today; how amazing. If you think about it though, with my lungs getting bigger... the amount of scar tissue from having Chronic Lung Disease is decreasing, so I've got fluffier lungs all of the time. One day they'll be totally better.

Oh yes, this one's especially for Aunty Steph... I'm 38cm's long. Mummy measured me from the top of my head to the bottom of my heal. I was 33cm's on the 16th June, so I've grown 5cm's in length in only 21 days, wowzers!
