I've got some hard times ahead of me... my girlfriend's graduated and left me. Harriet has gone 'to the other side', 'A Side'. This is where the better babies go, Harriet's been a very good girl and she's gone there. Her Mummy and Daddy say that she might come back to visit me in Room 4 if she's not so good - I'll see her again anyway, we'll get through it, we'll be together again! I passed on the message to Mummy Harriet, I think she's been in touch with your Mummy by now...
I had a visit this evening from Great Uncle Roger,
Aunty Deanna (she's my Great Aunt really, she's in denial), and my Cousin
Yaz. They're fab, they tickled me and talked to me. They even gave me two presents... a fluffy blue bear, called
Bluebie and a CD - my first CD (whatever one of those is...). Daddy says that it plays music (whatever that is). Cousin Tom has a band called
Soverin, they're popular and play at things called 'gigs'.
Soverin made a CD, a charity CD to raise money for the Children's Hospital at the John Radcliffe. I'll maybe go there one day, so really, they're raising money for me! Mummy's got more of the
CD's and if anyone would like to donate some money for the Children's Hospital then they just need to tell Mummy and they'll get a CD too - £3.80 would do it (that's because I'm 3
lb's 8
oz's).
I've been breathing a lot of air today and the flow at which they give it has been reduced to number 6 - only 3 more to go and then I'll hopefully come off it... that's for the future though - I'll concentrate on now. I'm up 50
g's too, that makes me 1590
kg's which is the £3.80 I mentioned above. I didn't do any nuzzling today which makes me a bit sad, I'll make sure that I have a nuzzle in to Mummy tomorrow - I can't wait, neither can Mummy.

Darling Oscar well done on another weight gain and also for breathing alot of air. So sorry you are sad over Harriet being moved but as you say you will see her again. Enjoy your nuzzle with mummy today, you are such a clever brave boy. Love you loads and loads.

ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I won't forget about you. I hear that Eva has taken my place in room 4, so I don't want you flirting with her. I think she's got a bit of a soft spot for Gene actually, so we'll see where that leads! I don't think i'm officially supposed to be on A side to be honest. All the other babies there are a lot bigger than me, and I'm virtually the only one with a beeping machine. I think my machine disturbs all the other babies to be honest! Apprently if a space gets freed up in Room 4, then I may get moved back until I've finished my antibiotics. You're doing very well with your weight. I don't seem to be putting any on at the moment, but then I am a girl! Fingers crossed that you come off your vapotherm soon, so you can come and see me.

Thank you for selling Tom's CD - lets hope you have a queue of people for them! One day you will have to come and see Tom at a gig I hope you like rock music?!
