17
ml's per hour, with a little bit of
Gaviscon after 10
ml's to take off the edge of any indigestion when I've got a full tummy. I get a bit irritable when digesting my milk and I make my machine beep a lot, so this should help; they give it to a lot of babies when they have hourly feeds. Even after all of this food, I still only put on another 11
g's overnight... so now I'm teetering on the edge of 2
kg's at 1986
g's (about 4lbs 6
oz's).
Mummy spent most of the day with me. My friends Allison and Ian came to see me. They're lovely because Allison just tells me I'm beautiful and holds my hand and looks at me a lot and Ian likes cars, he likes Ferrari and he knows all about diesel engines, just like the one my Daddy's friend Jim broke when he drove through some water and it went in his engine, oopsy daisy!

I had a nice long cuddle with Mummy, she gave me another breast feeding lesson and then put me on her lap; the lights were bright so teddy kept me in the shadows. I was out for about 2 hours and enjoyed every minute. I hope to get out and play again tomorrow.
You look so lovely on your blog tonight, fast asleep and growing, well done sweetheart you are amazing. How lovely for you and mummy, 2 hours out of your cot playing with mummy and more tomorrow. Love you loads and loads.xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHello Oscar, I was given gaviscon as well when I was on hourly feed. I had these reflexes which were causing my feed to come out of my mouth. Actually I was trying to taste it :) . They tell me gaviscon floats on the milk and don't let it come up. Doctor's suspected some feed might have gone into my lungs due to reflex. To sum it up gaviscon is important. I will leave the tasting sessions for later. Have a good time. Join you soon.
ReplyDeleteDear Oscar
ReplyDelete4lb 6oz that's amazing, how you've grown over the 12 weeks you've been with us. It wont be long before your original birthdate is here and, cross fingers, you might be able to come home soon. You'll love your new little house, it's all warm and cosy like you are.
See you soon Oscar
love
Janice & Brian. xxxxx
